Got Duct Tape?

Kaden obviously did not want to lay down today for his nap. He eventually did as he is still sleeping. :) When I went to check on him, I found him standing in his crib with just his shirt on. He had taken off his pants and removed his diaper. I also noticed there was a nice sized wet spot on the floor next to his crib. He peed on the floor thru the crib rails!! HaHa!!! May have to start duct taping his diapers on him. :)

Knock Knock

Kendra and Mikayla got back last night from the lake cabin. They left Thursday night to spend the weekend at my parents lake cabin in Detroit Lakes. Sounds like they had a good time with golfing, relaxing, laying in the hammock and eating good food.
Kaden is fighting his nap right now. :)
I just finished working 4 12 hr shifts in a row. Nice to sleep in a little this morning. It rained for about 20 minutes and thundered so Mikayla's swimming lesson was cancelled. I think we might not do another session because the summer weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate. :(
This morning our dog, Mollie, got outside. She likes to run and Mikayla was so worried about her. Her and Kendra chased after her and finally caught her. I heard a ring at the back door....then my phone ring but was busy with Kristian. A few minutes later I went to the back door and just as I got there the doorbell rang from the front door. (It was the girls with Mollie and both doors were locked) Anyway, as soon as Kaden heard the doorbell ring he yells 'hello' sounding more like 'ellow' and runs to the front door. He tries to open it and turns to me like 'mom help me!' The girls started knocking and then Kaden started knocking on the door back to them. It was so cute!

Apt-ches

Kendra is asking Kaden to say words after she has said them. He doesn't talk a whole lot but sometimes he does cooperate and says words once we've said them. Kendra is trying to have Kaden say Patches (our cat). I have noticed that the words that start with the letter P, he puts the P somewhere in the middle of the word. Patches is Apt-ches. It is so cute!
